I’ve been diligently getting edits done on a few stories, and am almost ready to publish them. The words on the paper were written a few years back, and I am finding it a little difficult to cut out some the unnecessary stuff. Sometimes entire paragraphs must go; other times just a word here and there. I’ve toyed with a play on ‘deleted scenes’, something like the ones that DVD’s often have only in written form, but I can’t think of what to call them.
Creativity flows in a rush sometimes, and I feel the need to set other things aside and write down story ideas. This often turns into a note-taking session, and soon an entire afternoon has passed. I’ve encountered this a couple of times over the last week-and-a-half, so there will be new stories at some point.
I took one of those ideas and started writing the story. Granted, I already have a few other stories started, but I’ve always done that. I can’t say for sure, but I may have adult ADD, LOL. Yeah, I have so many stories I’ve done last edits on I wont need the new ones any time this year anyway.
Now I’m working on book covers and graphics for what has already been edited. Once I have those set up, it’ll be easy to publish each. So watch for new stories coming out this summer!
When possible, I’m editing and note-taking outside. I love working out in nature, and thought I’d share a few pictures.
As you can see, I also like to take pictures. And there isn’t much I like more than working outside.
