I’ve been thinking lately that I need to broaden my horizons. I should be selling my stories on more than one platform, so I have decided to start with Lulu.com. I’ve used it to publish non-fiction, so I already know how to easily use the platform.
I just need to choose the time to start. I could do one book at a time over the course of a couple of months, or put aside an entire day to add them all. Or break it up during one week on my three-day stretch at home.
It will be a lot of work no matter how I choose to to do things, so I can’t really accomplish any of it during a week when I’m publishing a new story. I’ll have to go through my planner and see what I can come up with for available time slots in the near future.
A lot goes into the publish of an ebook, even when it’s already published elsewhere. You have to take time to go over the front and back matter of the book, and then to get the word out about where the book is published now. It’s going to be a busy spring and summer, for sure.
But I set December aside as an (almost) free month, where I won’t be publishing stories anywhere and the rest of my writing duties will be lighter. The break will be welcome.
