I’ve had a lot to do the last couple of weeks, what with publishing The Beginning. I’ve been promoting this new story, as well as the others I published over the last few months, and am close to being caught up. That damn humidity made me so sick I couldn’t concentrate on much.
I’m slowly getting the edits done for the first draft of The Perfect Choice. Written between 2016 and 2017, this was my first novella. It’s nothing like the short stories I’ve been writing, and I am still trying to decide what genre it is. This one is the first in a series of 4. I’ve got 18 chapters edited so far. Of course, this is the first edit. There will be more.
I haven’t written in the third stalker manuscript in more than a week, but I’m planning to do just that tomorrow with tea and breakfast at Aroma Joe’s. I’m pretty excited about the notes I’ve been taking for this novella, and can’t wait to see how it all comes together. I’d like to put in 2 or 3 hours on it tomorrow.
I’m also preparing A Child is Taken for publication this month. Another short story in The Cemetery Hill Series, a sub-series for Tales from the Mountain. I am so excited about this series!
Other than that, besides my job at The Inn, I’ve been spending time with my grandchildren and their parents. And Tuesday I’ll be having lunch with my daughter Skye.
