So, way back at the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018 I planned out my goals for this year. I had a definite goal of publishing 11 short stories this year, in an effort to build up my Amazon.com library.
I’m almost there! Early next week I’ll be publishing The Visitors (Cemetery Hill Series Part 3), part of the Tales from the Mountain series. And in November, I’ll be publishing my 11th story. Yay!
It’s hard to express just how excited I am about meeting this goal. The sheer number of hours spent each month to get a story out amazed me. It takes soooo much time to edit two or three times, create ebook covers and other graphics, make front and back matter for books, create descriptions, quotes, and excerpts, and get everything ready for publishing. And even more time to actually publish each story and promote it. It’s crazy.
Sometimes it’s been stressful, but most of the time it’s been great fun. I’ve had to learn new skills, and am completely aware of my shortcomings.
I’m almost there!
