My daughter Zowie has helped me to set up a Facebook page. She has a job where she runs a Facebook page for a business, and offered to help me get a page up and running for my fiction site. We’ve discussed social media and other aspects.
I’d been considering a Facebook page for my fiction over the past year, and finally decided to go ahead and do it. Last night we started inviting people to join and I’ve already got a nice little following over there.
Hopefully you’ll help me to add to that following. I’ll be sharing pictures, quotes, writerly memes, and more over there; some things that you won’t find here.
If you prefer not to follow blogs but like Facebook, you’ll learn about new posts over there as well. Facebook pages, like blogs, can give a sense of community, and I want to share all I can with my community.
Zowie’s going to help me with some aspects of the page, and soon she and I will be discussing a possible ad campaign for my upcoming story. I’m hoping to get the word out about the story, this blog, the newsletter, and the page. These are some of the goals I am working toward.
