“How old are you now?”


“And how many people have you killed?”

“Thirteen.” What was that look she was seeing on his face? Shock? Disgust? It didn’t matter. “I’ve killed thirteen people.”

“So many.”



“Why do I do it? Or, why so many?”


“Because I want to. And, because I like it.”

“I see.”

“No, sir. I don’t think you do see.”

“What makes you say that?”

“You can’t. You don’t know me.”
